Children's Business Fair returns June 30

Give young entrepreneurs ages 6-14 the opportunity to launch their very own business, sell to real customers and make their own money!

The 2nd Annual Acton Academy Sioux Falls Children's Business Fair returns to the Lake Lorraine Farmers Market on Thursday, June 30, from 4-6 p.m. An awards ceremony will follow.

The Acton Children’s Business Fair inspires children to discover their inner entrepreneur. This one-day market gives children the opportunity to showcase their very own businesses. Up to 30 booths will be allowed at the fair but you must apply.

Applications must be submitted online. Please submit one application for each business. Children working as a group should submit one application that includes each child’s information. No more than three participants per business.

About the Lake Lorraine Farmers Market

 The Lake Lorraine Farmers Market is organized and managed by Friessen Development, Inc., the developers of Lake Lorraine. The Farmers Market is located on the east side of the development in the parking lot south of Hobby Lobby. It takes place every Thursday from 4-7 p.m. from June into October. The goal is to bring the community to Lake Lorraine to promote local small scale agricultural and specialty products. The Lake Lorraine Farmers Market provides a location for producers to make their products available to Sioux falls area consumers, particularly western Sioux Falls.
