Lake Lorraine Farmers Market opening day is June 2

The Lake Lorraine Farmers Market opens Thursday, June 2. The market is located on the east side of the development in the parking lot south of Hobby Lobby. The market will be open Thursdays from 4-7 p.m. into October and offers a variety of locally-grown items and selection of produce. This is the fourth year of the city’s only westside farmers market.

Products will vary weekly throughout the growing season but visitors can anticipate items like vegetables, baked goods, eggs, honey, vegetable plants, poultry, beef — and more. Throughout the season the market will welcome additional vendors selling ice cream and other treats. In addition, the Acton Academy Children’s Business Fair returns June 30 and Pumpkin Day at the Market will take place Sept. 29. More details about these events and other activities will be shared via social media.
