Book your lakeside luxury picnic

If you’re interested in celebrating a special occasion or a unique date experience, consider booking an event with QBIC Luxury Picnics. Lake Lorraine is one of several outdoor locations that are now available to book. The outdoor season runs from May-October.

QBIC Luxury Picnics is the brainchild of high school sweethearts Isaac and Sabena Carter. The name combines Isaac’s nickname for Sabena, Queen Bean (QB), and Isaac’s initials (IC). Their idea to plan a picnic for their 2nd wedding anniversary turned into an opportunity to bring something new to the Sioux Falls area. QBIC Luxury Picnics brings quality time with friends, one-on-one time for couples, and helps celebrate special occasions in the QBIC way.

And the picnics are picturesque! A beautiful, cozy tablescape is laid out at your chosen location and includes a mouthwatering charcuterie board from local partner Cultivated In Love and Boxed Water to quench your thirst. You can bring additional food as well. Add-ons include additional time, games, flowers, Bluetooth speaker, and dessert options, as well as paddling with Flow and Paddle.

Luxury Picnic hours include:

  • Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday: 5-10 p.m.

  • Wednesday: Closed

  • Saturday-Sunday: Noon-10 p.m.
