Lake Lorraine Job Fair to be held Sept. 11
Lake Lorraine businesses are promoting full-time, part-time as well as seasonal positions at a Job Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 11, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. at the Grand Living at Lake Lorraine Forum Theater (2815 S. Westlake Dr.) There is no cost to attend and onsite and street parking is available.
The lifestyle center, which features dining and shopping options, is also the headquarters for several businesses, too. Cars for Sale moved to their Lake Lorraine location in 2017 and has several full-time openings. Total Card, Inc., will be moving into its new headquarters at the lake later this fall. They are seeking additional employees to join them at their new location. Advanced Inc., is expanding into South Dakota later this fall and will be located in the Westlake Office building. The healthcare company is seeking recruiters for its Sioux Falls location. Other employers are seeking people to fill ongoing openings for full-time and part-time positions or seasonal help through the holidays with the potential to turn into permanent positions.
One of the reasons Lake Lorraine is such a great place to visit also makes it a great place to work. Employees at Lake Lorraine benefit from a diverse pool of businesses to choose from, from restaurants to retail to professional services. In addition, the development is easily accessed from both the 26th Street and 41st Street exits from Interstate 29. New businesses continue to be recruited to Lake Lorraine, with more development announcements expected later this fall.
