Labor Day shopping at Lake Lorraine

Happy Labor Day! A labor strike led to a legal holiday in 1894, which acknowledged the labor movement. For many people, Labor Day also signifies the end of summer. 

At Lake Lorraine, some stores have adjusted hours today to acknowledge the holiday. Pop out to the lake to dine, shop or take in the view from the Lake Walk. Here's more details about deviations from regular hours:

Regular hours: Kirkland's, Carter's/OshKosh B'gosh, Ross Dress for Less, DSW, Marshalls, HomeGoods

Hobby Lobby will close at 5 p.m.

Closed: Mainstream Boutique, Pahl's Designer Showroom, Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery

Sales: Many stores have ongoing sales, including Moe's Home's 50% off sale that runs through Sept. 9.
