KELO Television recently interviewed Friessen Development, Inc.’s Cindy Monnin and Patty Vognild about Lake Lorraine. Monnin and Vognild are the daughters of Warren Friessen, who was the visionary behind the Lake Lorraine development.
Friessen purchased the parcels of land that now make up the development to use for fill for his construction company. He dug out material and created a lake at the same time. For many years it was a Friessen family getaway in the middle of the city. Today it’s a lifestyle center that continues to grow and offer recreational opportunities. Learn more:
