Halloween at Lake Lorraine returns Oct. 10

Trick-or-treat with characters, photos along the Lake Walk and more are all part of the fun for the 2026 Halloween at Lake Lorraine celebration on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 1-3 p.m. This is the ninth year the westside development has organized a FREE, family-friendly community Halloween event.

Everything takes place on the Lake Walk on the west side of Lake Lorraine. Park in the Carsforsale.com parking lot (2500 S. Westlake Dr.) and then head to the north entrance to enter the Lake Walk path. Trick-or-treating ends near the south end of the Carsforsale.com parking lot, so there’s no busy streets to cross and the pathway is perfect for strollers and wagons.

What you’ll see as you follow the path:

  • Fun characters and mascots to interact with

  • Candy stations and other goodies from Lake Lorraine businesses and community businesses/organizations

  • Fall-themed photo opportunities along the way

What to bring:

  • Come in costume

  • Bring a treat bag to hold your goodies

  • Well-behaved dogs welcome, too (even better if they are in costume, too)

  • Note that it is slightly cooler closer to the water so dress accordingly.
