Weinermobile headed to July 24 Farmers Market
The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is in Sioux Falls in the next few days and one of the stops includes the Lake Lorraine Farmers Market! The market is Thursday, July 24, from 4-7 p.m. in the parking lot between Hobby Lobby and Dave & Buster’s.
Oscar Mayer’s first Wienermobile — a vehicle shaped like a hot dog on a bun — debuted in 1936. While the legendary Wienermobile won’t be serving up your favorite hot dogs, you can pick up cool Oscar Mayer swag and take plenty of photos with the iconic vehicle.
This traveling Wienermobile is one of six operating throughout the U.S. The modern Wienermobile measures 27 feet long, 11 feet tall and 8 feed wide — or 60 hot dogs end-to-end long and 24 hot dogs stacked in height tall. The driver of the Wienermobile is called “The Hotdogger” and its horn plays the Oscar Mayer Wiener jingle.
