Support young entrepreneurs at Children's Business Fair June 17
Observe the opportunity for children to launch their very own startup business at the inaugural Acton Academy Sioux Falls Children’s Business Fair on Thursday June 17, held in conjunction with the weekly Lake Lorraine Farmers Market.
The fair and farmers market will be located on the east side of Lake Lorraine in the parking lot south of Hobby Lobby. The market runs from 4-7 p.m. and features a variety of vendors selling vegetables to meat to eggs to baked goods. The Children’s Business Fair will take place from 4-6 p.m. with an awards ceremony to follow.
This event is sponsored by Acton Academy, the Acton School of Business, Lake Lorraine, and through the generous support of donors and volunteers. We all believe that principled entrepreneurs are heroes and role models for the next generation.
Children have developed a brand, created a product or service, built a marketing strategy, and will be open for customers at the one-day marketplace. Approximately 15 booths will be at the fair. Participating businesses include: Bands4Ever, Braxton’s Bubble Company, Cupcake Kid, TayKay’s Treats, Kiptyn’s Coasters and Cookies, Original Work, Scottish Son’s Shortbread, Creative Characters and Frames, Josie’s Dog Sitting, Prairie Designs, Tie the Rainbow, Eat Good Feel Good, Aspyn’s Fairy Life, amd HEJ Golf Ball Sales.
