Outdoor Campus fishing opportunities this summer — stay tuned!

The South Dakota Game Fish & Parks Outdoor Campus is partnering with Lake Lorraine developers to offer free programming this summer at Lake Lorraine. This is part of an ongoing relationship between the SDGFP and Lake Lorraine developers to help grow urban fishing opportunities and to provide safe fishing experiences at Lake Lorraine. The first partnership event took place in February of this year, when a dozen or so elementary students participated in a memorial ice fishing event.

As a reminder, Lake Lorraine is private property and there is no fishing and swimming allowed. Classes being offered through SDGFP are a unique opportunity, with fun classes ranging from fishing to kayaking. Registration will be a different date and time from normal Outdoor Campus registration.

The partners anticipate classes filling up quickly. Look for registration information coming soonon the Outdoor Campus Facebook page for the first of several classes to be offered, beginning in late June.
