Registration for the 2025 Lake Lorraine Haunted House Decorating Contest will open soon! This is a FREE event to showcase homes in the Sioux Falls area that go all out for Halloween. There is no cost to participate — you just need to give permission for Lake Lorraine to publish your address.

After the entry deadline has closed, we’ll share the list of addresses so the public can go out and visit the homes — it’s a great family or date night activity. Voting for the People’s Choice Award will take place on Facebook.

Remember “Christmas Lanes” and how families would hop in the car and drive around to see how people decorated their homes for the holidays?
