MORE DETAILS

LOCATION

The Loop the Lake Race event will launch from the south side of Lake Lorraine.

IF YOU’RE RACING…

Each participant receives:

  • Equipment for the race (board/kayak, PFD, paddle)

  • Race bib

  • Swag bag

  • Potential to win great prizes

  • All registrants are entered to win a FREE kayak from Flow & Paddle

If you want to participate in more than one race (i.e. SUP and kayak), you must register for both races. You may bring your own recreational SUP or kayak; please acknowledge you’ll be doing so on the registration page. SUP and kayak races are one person per craft.

Heats will be assigned prior to the day-of and we’ll let you know which heat you’ll be racing. All participants must sign a waiver.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

  • Money — our food vendors (Sunny’s Eat Place and Simply Put Coffee) will take cash or cards. You can also hit the Lake Lorraine shops (or restaurants) before, during or after the races! You can pay for race registration onsite using a card.

  • Lawn chairs and blankets — there’s some seating around the lake but the grass along the lake shore is also perfect if you want to sit along the lake on the grass. There’s also a retaining wall with a perfect view of the finish line!

  • Bug spray and sunscreen — always good to have outside!

WILL THERE BE FOOD?

Food options will be onsite (Sunny’s Eat Place and Simply Put Coffee). You can also swing by restaurants at Lake Lorraine and eat before the shows or get food to go and bring it with. See our restaurant options here.

WHAT ABOUT RESTROOMS?

We have a porta potty onsite.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

Follow our social media to see any announcements of a cancelation or postponement.

Come out to watch the races — bring your blankets and lawn chairs and sit along the west side of the lake enjoying music, games and food vendors!
