Celebrate the pumpkin at the Oct. 7 Farmers Market

Come out to the Thursday, Oct. 7 Lake Lorraine Farmers Market and enjoy Pumpkin Day!

Market-goers can pick up the usual assortment of fall vegetables and sweet treats (pumpkin and otherwise!), as well as all the regular products from market vendors. They can also take home a complimentary pie pumpkin, courtesy of Hanisch Farms. More pumpkins and decorative gourds will also be available for purchase.

Farmers Market vendors are also taking part in a pumpkin decorating contest — please vote for your favorite pumpkin! The winner will receive a gift card from a Lake Lorraine business.

Plus, Rainy Day Coffee Co. will have Lucille the Coffee Truck onsite after 4:30 p.m., offering coffee, chai, hot chocolate and apple cider! Link West will also perform.

The Lake Lorraine Farmers Market hours also switch to 4-6:30 p.m. for the remainder of the season starting with this market. The intent is to stay open each Thursday in October, weather-permitting. Follow Facebook for the official final market date.
