Leap Day at Lake Lorraine — an "extra" day of savings and fun!

Because the Earth’s orbit is slightly more than 365 days, every four years we have an extra day in February to stay synced up with Earth’s — dubbed “leap year.” Look for a complete schedule of vendors, speakers and kids activities coming soon!

This year, Lake Lorraine businesses offering an “extra” day of savings along with a pop-up shop — a fun reason to get out of the house for Leap Day at Lake Lorraine! OK, technically it’s two days — Friday, Feb. 28 from noon-6 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 29 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Vendors, activities and speakers will take place at 2400 S. Marion Rd., Suite 100. Businesses throughout Lake Lorraine will have specials during the two days, too.

The pop-up space on Marion Road features free kids activities from The Makers Nook and vendors offering a little bit of everything. You can also register to win great prizes from Lake Lorraine businesses. Follow the Facebook event for a complete schedule.
