Celebrate Valentine's Day at Lake Lorraine

Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday in 2020, which is a perfect date night. From bargains to boutiques and ideas to pamper yourself or a loved one, you can find it all at Lake Lorraine. Find unique children’s books and toys at Child’s Play Toys, perfect for special occasions or any day! You can also find that perfect outfit at Carter’s/OshKosh B’Gosh.

 

Dining:

Looking to include food as part of your Valentine’s Day date? The SandBar and Grill has a special menu Valentine’s weekend — check it out! You can also dine at Sakura Sushi, where there’s more than just sushi, or go a little more casual at Capriotti’s. Each of these Lake Lorraine restaurants offers take-out options if you’d rather dine at home.

  • From open to close on Feb. 13, Mainstream Boutique is celebrating Galentine’s Day! Spread the Love! Enjoy mimosas and muffins while you shop. Earn 100 reward points when you bring a friend new to the boutique. If you spend $100 or more, get a FREE gift with your purchase (while supplies last).

  • Head to the Galentine’s Party at Love Marlow on Thursday, Feb. 13 from 4-7 p.m. Swing by for wine and goodies, plus a FREE gift when you spend $100.

  • Apricot Lane is working with Call to Freedom to shine a light on slavery.   • Love Marlow is holding its first “Empower Hour Book Series” from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15. The first book in the series is “Girl, Stop Apologizing” by Rachel Hollis. Clinical social worker Krystal Lohff from Integrated Care and Consultation will be leading the discussion each. The book helps bring awareness to the excuses we tell ourselves and how to overcome them. The first class focuses on Excuses 1-3 in the book, which help to identify the excuses we make for ourselves and talk about how to change our mindset and achieve our goals. The class will meet Feb. 15, Feb. 22, Feb. 29 and March 7 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. It’s free, but space is limited and you must pre-register. See the event for more details.
