Gift ideas for everyone on your list

The holiday shopping season might look different in 2020 and Lake Lorraine retailers have adjusted their shopping options and specials to allow for great deals beyond (and before) Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.

Stores like Child’s Play Toys and Love Marlow are also offering private shopping experiences without the crowds — contact them for more information. Another benefit of shopping at Lake Lorraine is the free and easy parking — many locations have parking directly in front of the store. See the Small Business Saturday Facebook event for more specials. Additional deals can be found here.

Following are a few ideas; and the gift that fits all ages and all sizes can be found all across the development — gift cards!

For the kids:

Child’s Play Toys has toys and books for all imaginations — and they can custom create a gift basket based on your price point, age, gender and interests of the child. Hit up Hobby Lobby for the kid who loves arts and crafts. Need a new outfit? Swing by Carters/OshKosh B’Gosh.

Pamper:

Haircuts and colors? Manis and pedis? Look no further than Sola Salon or A Perfect 10 Nail and Beauty Bar. The Man Salon is scheduled to open before Christmas, too.

For that special woman:

Lake Lorraine has three women’s boutiques — Apricot Lane, Love Marlow, and Mainstream Boutique — each offering unique style and fashion options. From clothes to shoes to accessories, you’ll be sure to find something for that special woman. Stylists are at each boutique to help you find the perfect fit!

For teens and tweens and everyone else on the list:

Great bargains and fashions can be found at Marshalls, HomeGoods and Ross Dress for Less. Everyone can use a new pair of shoes. Pick up the latest styles or find a gift card at DSW.

For the home:

New furniture and accessories can be a great way to invest in your home. Moe’s Home Sioux Falls features modern furniture and home décor. You can find lighting for all rooms and bathroom fixtures at Pahl’s Designer Showrooms.

For holiday décor and other home items, visit Hobby Lobby, Homegoods and Kirkland’s.

Take a break:

When you’re all shopped out (or need to drop off part of the non-shopping crew), you can grab a bite at these Lake Lorraine hot spots: The SandBar and Grill, Sakura Sushi or Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop.

And for those out-of-town guests — or maybe a staycation — take a look at great rates from the Hyatt Place. Stay the night or enjoy dinner and a drink overlooking Lake Lorraine.
