Farmers Market comes to Lake Lorraine in June

Friessen Development, Inc., is bringing a Farmers Market to Lake Lorraine in 2019.

Located on the west side of the lake, the farmers market will be the city’s first to be located west of Interstate 29. It will be held Thursdays starting June 20 from 4-7 p.m. Also on Thursdays, live music will be featured at 6:30 p.m. at The SandBar and Grill, also located on the west side of Lake Lorraine.

“Adding a market seemed like a great way to bring people to the development for a different shopping experience,” said Patty Vognild, Vice President of Friessen Development, Inc. “We feel it’s also a benefit for those who live on the west side. We continue to explore new ideas to make Lake Lorraine a destination.”

In it's first year, the market is starting small. Some vendors are seasonal and will bring their products as it works form them. Find updated information about the market on the Lake Lorraine website.
