Baking Up A Storm was started by home baker Alex Peterson in 2019. Alex grew up working in the kitchen with his mom and has dedicated his career to working in the food industry. He enjoys experimenting to find the perfect combination of flavors, specially crafted to wow your taste buds.

Alex joined the Lake Lorraine Farmers Market in 2021. His retail store opened in the lobby of The Blu apartment complex in September 2023.

Baking Up A Storm offers locally roasted coffee beverages and a variety of made-from-scratch treats like cupcakes, sweet breads, kolaches, pies and cheesecakes.
